Protection against ticks is extremely important, as ticks cause unpleasant itching for your puppy and carry various diseases that can make your puppy sick.

Why is tick protection important?

There are many types of ticks, some of which transmit serious diseases such as Lyme disease, babesiosis and anaplasmosis.
These parasites are not only annoying but can cause serious health problems for your puppy.

Ticks prefer to stay in tall grass, bushes and thickets and prey on their victims, which include our four-legged friends.
Once they attach themselves to the skin, they can transmit dangerous diseases.
It is therefore important to protect your puppy from these parasites.

 <div class="elementor-element elementor-element-7573942 e-flex few drops to your pet’s skin.
I use one drop at a time and rub it on the inside of the ear on the skin, then spread a few more drops on my palms and go all over the body, from head to tail.
I’m especially careful to apply under my armpits and on my stomach between my back legs.
I apply every day for at least 3 weeks at the beginning of the season, then about 3x a week throughout the summer as long as there are ticks.

What more can you do?

Dietary supplements: adding dietary supplements containing ingredients such as garlic, brewer’s yeast or apple cider vinegar can help deter ticks from your dog.
These ingredients change the smell of the skin, which repels ticks.

Regular cleaning and mowing of the yard: regular mowing of the grass and removal of leaves and shrubs in the yard can reduce the chances of ticks settling in the area and thus reduce your dog’s exposure.

Regular check-ups: despite all preventive measures, it is important to regularly check your dog’s skin and coat after every walk or outdoor play.
If you see any ticks, remove them safely and immediately.

Protecting your puppy from ticks is extremely important as it can prevent serious health problems.
Natural products can be an effective and safe alternative to commercial repellents.
By using a combination of preventive measures, we can effectively protect our pets from the dangers posed by ticks.

I hope you and your puppy spend as many carefree days outside in nature as possible
